Accessibility Statement

Matteo’s of Boca Raton is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We most recently reviewed this site on November 3, 2026, using automated checks, keyboard testing and screen reader testing. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and some parts of the site may not yet meet this standard.

What we have done

  • Added a “Skip to main content” link and a clear page structure with headings and landmarks.
  • Made the main menu, mobile menu, image gallery and slideshows usable with a keyboard and screen reader.
  • Added a pause button to slideshows that move automatically.
  • Added text descriptions to gallery photos.
  • Labeled form fields and links, and warned when a link opens in a new tab.
  • Gave the embedded map a descriptive title.
  • Checked text contrast and page layout on phones and at 400% zoom.

Known limitations

  • Some features are provided by outside companies, including online reservations (OpenTable), gift cards and balance checks (Toast), the Google map, and the contact form spam check (reCAPTCHA). We do not control their accessibility.
  • Some documents, such as the event packages, are provided as PDF files and may not be fully accessible. If you cannot use a document, contact us and we will provide the information in another format.
